ComCom CEO Nick Hill joins MartinJenkins
Nick Hill, CEO of the Commerce Commission, is joining consulting firm MartinJenkins.
Mr Hill took over as the first CEO of the Commerce Commission in June 2008, and was previously Chief Executive at Sport and Recreation New Zealand (SPARC). He leaves the Commission after developing and implementing a programme of change to the organisation.
MartinJenkins provides strategic management support to clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, working primarily on organisational performance, public policy and economic analysis, and evaluation and research.
Mr Hill, who has a double degree in politics and law, will join the firm as a director to be based in a new Auckland office.
MartinJenkins director Doug Martin said Mr Hill brought a wide-ranging skill set to the firm.
“Nick’s previously held senior management roles in ECNZ and Fletcher Challenge Energy following an early career working for the State Services Commission and Treasury. He will help us to further strengthen our offerings in both the public and private sectors. He’s incredibly well networked and has very strong strategic leadership skills.”
Mr Hill takes up his new role in February 2011.
