Team-driven agency takes out top honours at national real estate awards
Successfully signing off more than
1700 transactions in the commercial and industrial property
market over the space of a year has earned leading real
estate agency Bayleys another major industry accolade –
winning the Commercial & Industrial Agency of the Year
category at this year’s Real Estate Institute of New
Zealand Awards for Excellence.
The award was presented to Bayleys for surpassing a number of judging criteria, including: * Agency achievements on both a dollar and volume basis * Displaying an outstanding business plan * Showcasing the professional development of its sales teams * Delivering highly-effective marketing campaigns * Client service, and of course * Achieving significant sales for clients.
The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand Awards for Excellence judges described Bayleys’ entry as “Outstanding”, and noted that none of the other entries in the category were even close to matching Bayleys’ benchmark-setting standards.
Bayleys national commercial and industrial general manager Chris Bayley said the REINZ accolade reflected the combined innovation and commitment which the company, its salespeople, and vast array of internal support services, had sharply honed over years of market experience.
“This award is about a team effort – which is what our whole business model is built around,” said Chris Bayley. “That ‘team’ approach sees our sales people able to draw on an extensive suite of support resources to get their deals done.
“Those resources encompass the marketing team which runs our highly visible advertising campaigns, the auctioneering team which helps conclude our sales, the training team which keeps our salespeople ahead of the opposition, the recruitment team which ensures we employ the best people, and the public relations team which keeps the Bayleys name and our listings at the forefront of public recognition.
“One of the challenges for Bayleys now - in addition to continuing to sell and lease property on behalf of our clients – is to maintain the systems and structures which won us this award. However, that is a challenge we look forward to meeting over the coming year.”
The REINZ Award is the second major industry accolade won by Bayleys in recent months. Earlier this year the company won the of Best Commercial Sales Agency title at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ annual honours.
