2degrees’ mobile pricing to remain the same

At 2degrees, nothing’s changing

2degrees’ mobile pricing to remain the same from 1 October

There’ll be no GST increase passed on to 2degrees’ customers post 1 October with New Zealand’s newest mobile network refusing to increase its prices to reflect the increase in GST.

According to 2degrees Chief Marketing Officer Larrie Moore, 2degrees is committed to keeping mobile simple and affordable for New Zealanders.
“We offer New Zealanders some of the best value Mobile Broadband, Prepay and Pay Monthly options. This will remain unchanged post 1 October.”

“Our new Pay Monthly plan launched recently, with a price of $39.00 will remain at $39.00 after the GST increase, in stark contrast to some other mobile providers who are raising prices of many of their products,” he said.

2degrees’ Pay Monthly plan offers 120 minutes of calling time to any network in New Zealand and 600 texts for $39.00. In addition, any unused minutes can be carried over from one month to the next for up to one year. This innovative ‘Pay Monthly’ plan is the first of its kind in New Zealand, and offers flexibility found in only a few other developed markets like the United States.
