Kordia And Datacom Partner Up

Kordia And Datacom Partner Up To Deliver Wan And Telco Services

Auckland, New Zealand: - Kordia has entered into a new wholesale channel partnership with New Zealand's largest privately-owned IT services provider, Datacom.

Kordia has recently opened its nationwide network from its traditional broadcast customer base to the wider New Zealand Corporate / Enterprise markets, developing several products specifically for the customers of systems integrators operating in the WAN and Cloud space.

The relationship with Datacom has already proven successful with several large WAN deals won in the past year including the likes of Greater Wellington Regional Council and Farmers' Mutual Group.

Kordia's General Manager of Sales and Marketing Drew Gilpin says that the weight of experience behind the two locally-owned companies is incomparable in this market, and that the complementary service offerings from both Kordia and Datacom will benefit existing and potential clients.

"The wholesale channel is a big focus for us, because we know this market is too small for any one player to try to make it alone," Gilpin says. "Kordia is a boutique telco and media business, and Datacom is New Zealand's leading IT management, software and integration, and business services specialist. We're a very strong strategic match."

Kordia's WAN product OnKor is already delivering great results for Datacom customers, and provides a solid foundation for the pair to deliver WAN, Voice and Business Internet services, along with Datacom's additional services at Layer 3, and in the Office and Data centre.

Earlier this year, OnKor took out the 'Most Innovative Telecom Service or Application in New Zealand 2010' award at the CommsDay NZ summit in Auckland.

Between them, Kordia and Datacom have over 100 years' experience in providing creative, innovative and industry-leading solutions and services to some of New Zealand's largest organisations in both corporate and government sectors.

"The synergies that we can offer clients by working this closely together are huge," says Gilpin.
