‘Can Do’ Attitude Wins Service Delivery Award
Strong relationships and a ‘can do’ attitude has seen Naylor Love Construction recognised for excellent service at the 2010 Westpac Enterprise North Shore Business Excellence Awards
The Glenfield-based company won the Ingram Micro Excellence in Service Delivery Award; and also received a special distinction award in the Blackcat Consulting Employer of Choice.
The service delivery award is Naylor Love’s second category win in two years after winning the workplace safety award in 2009.
This year’s judging panel praised Naylor Love for a commitment to service delivery that has led to growth, faster delivery and increased demand.
Naylor Love Construction offers a full range of construction services, feasibility and pre-construction planning, comprehensive project management services, and design management. It can undertake projects up to $100 million in value. Known for its excellent relationships with clients and subcontractors and its can-do attitude, it aims to deliver measurably the best construction services.
Naylor Love Limited, a private construction company, was formed in Dunedin in 1969 with the merger of two independent building companies which had already played a major role in the development of New Zealand for more than sixty years. The company’s head office remains in Dunedin, but it is represented by divisions in Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury and Central Otago.
After entering the Auckland market in 2003, Naylor Love has now completed close to $300 million worth of projects in the north.
“Our people are solution focused, they build relationships based on open and inclusive engagement at all levels in our business and are hell-bent on becoming measurably the best construction company in Auckland,” says Phil Brosnan, Auckland regional manager of Naylor Love Auckland.
“By employing best practices across every discipline in our business, despite a declining market, we continue to buck the trend with continuous and sustainable growth.”
Enterprise North Shore chief executive Terry Hoskins endorses the importance of solid service delivery. “There are so many aspects of business to focus on for continued success, but with an excellent service ethos everything becomes significantly easier. Naylor Love already recognises this, which is reflected in their superb award win.”
