Charities should be wrapped with this offer
MEDIA RELEASE
09 September 2010
Urgent Couriers is offering an Auckland based charity the chance to have free brand visibility on one of its highly visible Mobile AdVert cars for three months - an offer valued at almost $6,000.
Mobile AdVert is Urgent Couriers' innovative alternative to bus stop and billboard advertising. An organisation's brand can be wrapped around one of Urgent Couriers' fleet vehicles for exceptional brand visibility as the driver cris-crosses the city during business hours.
Urgent Couriers Managing Director, Steve Bonnici says they are delighted to be able to help a local charity boost awareness of its service.
"There are organisations out there doing some great community work on shoestring budgets, and this is a chance for Urgent Couriers to help them achieve added visibility they cannot otherwise afford."
Urgent Couriers has wrapped cars in the past to support the Auckland City Mission's various appeals. This initiative opens the opportunity up to other charities. During September Urgent Couriers will wrap one of its cars to support the SPCA's charity auction on September 26th.
Mobile AdVert is normally aimed at businesses wanting to benefit from brand exposure, with Urgent Couriers vehicles typically covering 2,000 to 5,000 kilometres of Auckland streets each month.
"The vehicles stand out, making them a highly visible and effective advertising medium," says Steve Bonnici.
Charities interested in becoming wrapped up by Urgent Couriers should visit mobileadvert.co.nz http://www.mobileadvert.co.nz/ and send a request through the 'contact us' page. This offer excludes the cost of artwork and production of the wrap.
Urgent Couriers offsets all carbon emissions associated with its vehicle fleet and commercial operations through Landcare Research's carboNZero programme, so the charity can be assured the opportunity will have a low environmental impact.
