AXA help for customers severely affected by Canterbury earthquake
AXA New Zealand is offering financial assistance for customers in the Canterbury region who are unable to pay their life insurance premiums following the Canterbury Earthquake.
AXA will cover up to three months of premiums for term and income protection customers who are unable to meet reasonable and immediate living expenses and qualify for its Financial Hardship provision.
AXA CEO Ralph Stewart says the offer will ensure ongoing risk cover for customers who might otherwise struggle to keep paying their premiums.
“People in Canterbury are under a lot of stress and we don’t want them worrying about what’s going to happen if they can’t afford to keep paying their life insurance premiums. This will give customers who really need it a financial break while they get back on their feet,” Mr Stewart says.
“We hope it will be one less thing for our customers to worry about.”
Customers can apply for the benefit, or find out more, by phoning AXA on 0800 ASK AXA (0800 275 292) or by visiting www.axa.co.nz
