Extra Vero staff arrive in
Christchurch today from Australia to assist with Vero’s
response to the earthquake.
These additional staff will join the local Christchurch team and Vero Assessors, Adjusters and Investigators from around the country as the company continues to investigate, assess and repair damage. Vero has also been contracting additional engineers and building teams from around the country to help fix, repair and rebuild.
Andrew Aitken, Vero Executive General Manager says, ““Our objective is to do as much as we can to help get businesses and households back up and running as quickly as possible, which is why we have flown additional staff in from around New Zealand and Australia to speed things along.”
Given the severity of damages, the company has had to prioritise the most severe cases where possible in order that the most dangerous and worst affected get attended to as quickly as possible.
Vero staff from around the country are working extremely hard to assist those affected get through this difficult time.
