“We will work closely with our customers and others in the region to identify community rebuilding projects that will be supported by New Zealand Steel’s $500,000 products and building solutions package,” Mr Murray said.

Mr Murray said that, in addition to the donation of steel product, an employee giving scheme was in place across New Zealand Steel to enable its 1200 employees to donate to the NZ Red Cross appeal. “On top of the $500,000 support package, the Company has also committed to match employee donations up to $50,000,” he said.
