Local Event Offers Positive Options in a Challenging
Marketplace
Delivering practical
solutions for business growth
Creating a
fun interaction with your customers is central to having a
successful business. Strong relationships and the impact
they have on a business’s bottom line are the themes of a
new business event in Christchurch on October 1. The Growing
Business ‘More PROFIT Fun Day Out’ will demonstrate how
interacting and having fun with your customers is the key to
getting and sustaining more profit in your business.
The epitome of building such valuable long-term relationship can easily be seen in the business development career of the event's headline speaker, Geoff Kirkwood. Delivering an entertaining and insightful look at ‘How to Build Million Dollar Relationships’, Geoff will speak of the chance encounter at a Toastmasters event in San Diego, USA in 1983.
At the time he didn’t realise the impact this encounter would have on his long term business goals, but through his recognition of the need to foster mutually beneficial relationships he was able to turn networking into a one million dollar payday when he sold his Australian BNI Business. He will share his system for building relationships enabling local businesses to work towards the same level of success.
Event organisers, Colin Clapp, Accountable Business Progress and Karen Hamilton, 360 Degree Events were fed up of negative, defensive, scarcity thinking around growing your business in tough times “It’s time to remind people of the value you can generate through pro-activity in the marketplace,” Colin says.
The emphasis of Fun Day Out is interaction, between the participants and with the panel of professional speakers who will share tools, tips and strategies on how to increase your businesses profitability. The event is limited to 180 participants to allow the opportunity for interaction and networking. Full details are available at the website. www.fundayout.co.nz
Other speakers will include: Colin Clapp(Your Business Success Backbone), Mike Catton (Seize Your Day), Lee Retimana (Why dumb people sometimes make more money), James Robson (More market share now), Kaila Colbin and Phil Benoit (Social media and the content generation game), Chris O’Dell (Mastering the art of sales).
