‘Zip into Spring’ with Crowne Plaza Queenstown

‘Zip into Spring’ with Crowne Plaza Queenstown and Ziptrek Ecotours

Crowne Plaza Queenstown has teamed up with Ziptrek Ecotours to offer a sensational springtime package for 2010.

Zip into Spring includes accommodation for one night and breakfast at the popular hotel plus one pass for an unforgettable eco-adventure/flying-fox experience, all for just $199* per person (based on a minimum of two people per booking, valid from 31 August to 31 October 2010)

Crowne Plaza Queenstown’s resident Clefs d’Ors Leisure Concierge, Nathan Wise, has designed the package as one that offers great value and huge fun for visitors to Queenstown.

“We are always looking for ways to offer our guests the very best Queenstown experiences at great value and take pride in working with local tourism operators to do so,” he said.

“Springtime in Queenstown is unique. The trees are beginning to blossom and a sprinkling of snow remains on the mountains - it really is stunning, and as the warmer weather moves in, zipping through the forest canopy 446m above Queenstown is a fantastic way to get amongst the beauty of the season.”

Crowne Plaza Queenstown is a 4+ star contemporary and stylish hotel in an outstanding in-town location with spectacular views over Lake Wakatipu. Towering above it is Bob’s Peak where Ziptrek Ecotours operates its thrill-seeking experience. Zippers are taken on a two-hour flying fox eco-adventure through the forest canopy between tree platforms where Ziptrek guides deliver an interpretive talk with an ecological focus.

“For those who enjoy the great outdoors this is an extraordinary time of year to visit. The ‘Zip into Spring’ package gives guests the chance enjoy a slice of luxury, let go on an exhilarating adventure and learn more about our eco-system,” said Mr Wise.
