Orcon now selling iPads

Orcon customers can now tap in to Apple’s revolutionary iPad - literally.

Orcon is the first telco in New Zealand to sell the innovative iPad tablet computer.

WiFi + 3G iPads in 32GB and 64GB configurations are available from 1pm (August 31) online at orcon.net.nz or by free-phone on 0800 JOIN US (564587).

Orcon CEO Scott Bartlett says the iPad offering is a further step in the company’s quest to meet the mobile needs of its customers.

“We know our customers are mobile and we constantly strive to meet their needs no matter where they hang out. Apple’s iPad is not only super cool – it’s a convenient, go-anywhere computing device.

“And the iPad is simply great mobile technology so it makes sense to add it to our repertoire.”

Orcon is retailing the 32GB iPad 3G for $1,179 while the 64GB version is $1,349.  Orcon mobile data plans start at $19.95 per month for 500MB with a 4GB plan available at $69.95 per month.
