New Zealand Company Named As Preferred Supplier
A privately owned New Zealand company has been selected as a preferred supplier to a security operation with millions of customers all over the world.
Intek Security Group is based in Auckland, with regional offices in Wellington and Christchurch and a total of 23 staff, most of whom have considerable experience in the security industry.
Ian Anderson, General Manager for ADT Armourguard Security New Zealand and Fiji, says Intek is his company’s preferred supplier for Intrusion (alarm) products and CCTV solutions.
“Intek’s selection reflects our two organisations’ common philosophy of excellence,” Mr Anderson says. “We think the same way about doing our best for our clients, in terms of product selection, application, training and technical support.”
Mr Anderson says the decision is significant.
“ADT Armourguard was established in New Zealand in 1959 to service the cash and manned services requirements of New Zealand businesses,” he says. “Now we bring to the New Zealand market ADT Worldwide, the worldwide largest provider of electronic security services to more than seven million commercial, government and residential customers. “
Mr Anderson says Intek Security Group Limited's representation of world leading brands influenced the decision to work together.
He says his company is quick to adopt global trends and wireless intrusion systems, as well as CCTV web browsing developments that create new opportunities in the security market.
“As New Zealand's only complete security solution provider, ADT Armourguard is committed to providing high standards of service, from the initial design, supply, installation and monitoring through to ongoing servicing and maintenance,” he says. “We can see Intek can help us continue to keep that commitment.”
