B>Invivo Partners With Leading Kiwi Musicians For Launch Of 2010 Vintage
Exciting New Zealand wine producer Invivo is launching its new release 2010 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc this month with a unique music partnership. The wine label is supporting Eru Dangerspiel - An ensemble of 30 leading New Zealand musicians touring New Zealand in October. The group is lead by founding member of Trinity Roots and Fat Freddy’s Drop drummer Riki Gooch. Invivo has produced a shot of Riki Gooch in his Wellington studio photographed by Pat Sheppard to promote the partnership.
This is the second year the group has combined, in 2009, the group included members from The Black Seeds, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Ladi6, The Mutton Birds and individuals such as the outstanding Nathan Haines and Anna Coddington. Invivo’s Co Founder Tim Lightbourne states “From day one, Invivo has continued to seek opportunities to further our cultural philosophy. The partnership with Eru Dangerspiel is a perfect fit for Invivo and a great way to launch our 2010 vintage. Invivo is looking forward to supporting the unique experience of Eru Dangerspiel!”
The 2010 ensemble of 30 musicians promises to be just as spectacular with rumours circulating about even more of New Zealand’s leading artists surfacing especially for the October tour. Music writer Martyn Pepperell describes the group as "Bringing together a vibrant mixture of local musicians, more than just a celebration of band leader Riki Gooch’s idiosyncratic compositions - the Eru Dangerpspiel concert was a celebration of New Zealand's musical community and its intimate connection with audiences across the country. Viva La Musica!" Eru Dangerspiel has also recently released a DVD & CD Great News For The Modern Man: Live At the Auckland Town Hall from the sold out 2009 concert.
The Eru Dangerspiel campaign will be featured in advertising, web, instore & on the Invivo bottle. The tour will also have features on TV and radio promotions.
