Auckland Accountants Unite to Support Local Business Owners
Forget about tax and compliance - in a first for Auckland, two Accounting firms have joined forces to provide FREE BUSINESS ADVICE about the topics that really make a difference to small business success in a tough economy.
Struggling business owners will have the opportunity to learn strategies for success from one of Australiasia’s top business coach’s at ‘The Edge’ on the 24th of August at the North Harbour Function Centre, thanks to the partners of Baldry & Sanford and RES Group.
Clinton Sanford from Baldry and Sanford and Butch Mawdsley from RES Group have come together to co-host this hard-hitting event with the goal of reaching and impacting as many business owners as possible.
According to Butch, the truth right now is that 21% of small business owners are currently concerned about a lack of sales, 14% about their cash flow, and a further 11% about the negative impacts of the economic climate, yet new research reveals that 78% have NOT approached their accountant about getting the help they need. As he says, “We know that business owners need our help – whether they’re asking for it or not. “
Clinton and Butch, represent a new breed of accountants committed to proactively supporting their clients’ businesses and combating local business failure rates. In fact, they’ve been among the first accountants in Auckland to gain leveraged access to business performance concepts and coaching for their clients by incorporating a 10X business development division into their accountancy firms.
As well as sharing their combined 43 years experience, the partners are bringing in peak performance coach, Dean Marinac, to headline the Tuesday night event. Local businesses have shown their excitement about the event, with clients from their accounting firms pre-booking and snapping up tickets to the event.
10X Rodney Kaipara and 10X North Shore have pooled their resources to make complimentary tickets to ‘The Edge’ available to readers located in the Rodney, Kaipara and the North Shore districts, however seats are limited, so please contact Aimee Bridgman for North Shore tickets and Kylie Watkins for Rodney Kaipara tickets, to secure your place at the event.
