Murray Chandler – Partner, Grant Thornton New Zealand Ltd
Based in Wellington, Murray Chandler has joined Grant Thornton New Zealand Ltd as Partner of Business Risk.

A Chartered Accountant and Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Murray graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce and Administration, He has more than 20 years management experience delivering audit, assurance, risk and process improvement assignments in New Zealand and internationally. Murray has worked in telecommunications, electricity utilities, district health boards, government ministries, education, banking, agriculture and primary production.

Sue Bryden – Regional Business Manager, Grant Thornton New Zealand Ltd
Sue Bryden has been appointed Regional Business Manager of the Christchurch office of Grant Thornton New Zealand Ltd. She joined the company earlier this year after being CEO for a Christchurch law firm, Harmans.

With an MA (Hons) in History and Modern Languages, Sue started her career in the IT industry in the 1980s, spending the next 20 years in management roles within the sector. She brings extensive business experience to her position, particularly in managing and motivating teams to achieve excellent results.
