Skycity to Showcase Convention and Catering Operations at Meetings 2010
With less than a week remaining
until the largest and most anticipated trade show in New
Zealand for the conference, meetings, events, exhibition and
travel incentive industry; MEETINGS 2010 held at the SKYCITY
Auckland Convention Centre is a sold out event. MEETINGS
attracts businesses and vendors from all across New Zealand
ranging from airlines, convention centres, exhibition
organisers and contractors, trade publications to hotels,
resorts and spas.
The show, held at the SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre over two floors on 23-34 June is in its 14th year and brings together buyers and sellers of conference and incentive travel products and services to grow mutual business opportunities and share knowledge and ideas.
At this year’s event both the SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre including SKYCITY Hotels and SKYCITY Catering and Events will be showing what they have on offer. The SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre booth will showcase SKYCITY’s world class convention facilities which can cater from small meetings up to full size banquet dinners for over 1000 people.
SKYCITY Catering and Events are able to cater for small to large events which this year included the 100th birthday of Farmers - the Catering and Events team provided early morning breakfasts for 1,345 guests at 16 different Farmers stores across Auckland simultaneously.
SKYCITY so far has 90 appointments with New Zealand, Australian and Asian buyers over the two day show.
