Royal Treatment For Lotto Winners
Lotto has celebrated the Queen’s Birthday weekend by giving away four $259,248 shares of First Division prizes to
Waitakere, Hamilton and Ohakune, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
“These winners will be able to live like a queen and experience some right royal treatment following this weekend’s
Lotto draw,” says Mr McLeay.
The winning Lotto tickets were sold to a MyLotto player from Waitakere, and at Plaza Lunchbar Lotto also in Waitakere,
Take Note Ohakune, and Te Kowhai Foodcentre, Hamilton.
There was also a remarkable 36 Second Division Lotto winners from around the country.
Powerball First Division was not struck tonight, so the jackpot for next week will be an estimated $10 million.
Strike Four was struck tonight with a lucky player from Tauranga winning $653,805. The ticket was sold at Greerton
Lotto.
Tonight’s other big winner was a syndicate from Wanganui. Richard Mead spun for the group of 15, and won $100,000 on
Lotto’s Winning Wheel.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the
type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Eastridge Lotto in Auckland. The serial number is 741-6593325-20xx.
“Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket
and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries outlet."
