Gull Discounts Fuel by 5c Per Litre

Auckland, 27 May 2009 – Gull today announced a 5c per litre discount on all grades of petrol and diesel, commencing 7am Thursday 27 May and ending at 10am Friday 28 May.

“Gull is committed to delivering extra value at the pumps for Kiwi motorists, and our regular discount days are one way we can say thank you to our customers – and save them money at the same time,” says Graham Stirk, Retail Business Manager for Gull New Zealand.

Motorists can also make use of their Foodtown, Countdown and Woolworth’s fuel dockets to further increase their savings at the pump.

Fuel prices at sites where Gull set the price for today’s discount will be no more than:

Gull Regular Plus (91 octane) $1.689
Gull Regular 91 $1.699
Gull Force 10 (98 octane) $1.829
Gull Diesel $1.129

The Gull drive-through / express sites will be priced lower than this – drive through sites can be found at Ti Rakau Drive (Auckland), Norton Road (Hamilton) and Rifle Range Road (Taupo) . It is expected that Gull’s Rifle Range Road site, which is currently offering very large discounts, will have the lowest priced petrol in New Zealand tomorrow – regular is priced at $1.579 and diesel at $1.109.
