Waikato realtor named Harcourts New Zealand Rural No. 1
21 May 2010: Waikato real estate identity Shaun Cosgrove has confirmed he’s one of the top-performers in the rural and lifestyle sector of the New Zealand property market, being named Harcourts New Zealand’s Top Rural Sales Consultant for the second year in a row.
Mr Cosgrave, who is based at the Glenview office operated by Harcourts’ franchise Monarch Real Estate Ltd and specialises in marketing and sales of lifestyle properties around the Waikato, was also named fourth overall in New Zealand’s largest real estate group and fifth internationally in Harcourts, which currently operates in nine countries and has more than 4000 sales consultants.
The former residential property specialist won the Number One Rural Sales Consultant award ahead of Sue Roberts from Harcourts Belfast office in Christchurch, and third-placed Lynn Lockhart from Harcourts Papakura Rural office.
The trio’s achievements were announced at the Harcourts New Zealand National Awards dinner in Christchurch on Wednesday night, a black-tie event held at the end of the group’s annual conference and attended by around 800 people who together honoured the top offices and individuals in Harcourts New Zealand.
Mr Cosgrave attributes his continued success to passion, hard work and customer service.
“I genuinely love what I do and that motivates me to help my clients achieve their goals. I’m honoured to have received this award for the second year in a row after what has been a challenging 12 months in the Waikato lifestyle property market.”
Head of Real Estate Operations for Harcourts Australasia Bryan Thomson congratulated the top performing Hamilton-based sales consultants including Harcourts’ star Shaun Cosgrave.
“Shaun works extremely hard and is skilled, focused and dedicated. His success is particularly outstanding given the tough real estate climate experienced in provincial areas.”
