Staff photo competition great incentive
Black Cat Cruises dolphin swimming staff took hundreds of photos over the summer as part of an internal company photo competition that may see the winning image feature in future promotional material for the company.
“The photo competition provided our team with an extra incentive to get involved and look for great photo opportunities of customers enjoying themselves,” Black Cat Cruises Managing Director Paul Bingham said.
“We took hundreds of photos then narrowed it down to the top 20 from which the winner was selected.”
Competition winner was Dolphin Swimming Guide Georgie Shadbolt whose winning picture actually featured another team member Charlotte White. Shadbolt won an expensive digital camera for her winning photo.
“It was great fun taking photos and looking for good opportunities,” Shadbolt said. “It got a bit competitive as we all looked for that money shot over the summer.”
The camera and winning photo were presented at a recent staff end of summer season function.
Bingham said he was sure the winning photo could be used in future company promotional material and on the company’s website and there was a good chance the company would run the competition again next summer as it was so successful
