Free tool helps not-for-profit organisations grow
Not-for-profit groups and charities are getting a helping hand thanks to a new online tool.
A free assessment, launched recently by Enterprise North Shore (ENS), allows groups to identify strengths and areas of risk within their business, and prioritise actions to help reach business goals.
Chief executive Terry Hoskins believes that helping these organisations is vital for the local economy.
“ENS recognises the enormous contribution the not-for–profit sector makes for the economy while delivering valuable community services. This diagnostic assessment is a great free tool that will help not-for-profit groups evaluate themselves against best practice, identify strengths and weaknesses, focus efforts for success, and improve business performance; without draining their already scarce resources.”
The new tool is part of a suite of online assessments known as Excellerator which offers free evaluations for a host of businesses, including start-ups and mature enterprises.
All Excellerator assessments can be found at www.ens.org.nz/excellerator
