Jasons Introduces ‘Stayed, Paid & Raved’ Reviews

Jasons Introduces Trusted ‘Stayed, Paid & Raved’ Reviews

In a first for a New Zealand owned and operated company, Jasons Travel Media announce they will introduce authenticated accommodation reviews on jasonscom. Unlike other review sites, including tripadvisor.com, where reviews can be written without proof of stay, Jasons new ‘Stayed, Paid & Raved’ system will display a special verification icon for those who have booked and paid for accommodation through jasons.com.

Other reviews will be accepted but will not carry the verification icon. Furthermore, the review system will allow participating accommodation providers to respond to reviews, narrowing the gap between what travellers expect and what the travel industry delivers.

“We know that accommodation providers have been frustrated on some other travel sites with inaccurate reviews potentially from dubious sources,” says Matthew Mayne, CEO of Jasons Travel Media. “Travellers today are incredibly savvy when it comes to choosing where they stay and whether or not they recommend fellow travellers stay there too. The need for a credible, authenticated review system is very real and we’re responding to that.” “We now cater for every stage of the traveller’s journey.”

The new ‘Stayed, Paid & Raved’ feature will further enhance the value of jasons.com to both accommodation providers and travellers. With a large range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets, Jasons is already a firm favourite for Kiwi and international travellers alike.

With an extensive presence in the print, online and social media arenas, Jasons Travel Media looks forward to developing and introducing more tools to better serve travellers and the travel industry in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.
