ETTANZ & India NZ Business Council Sign MoU

Signing of MOU - ETTANZ & India New Zealand Business Council

A MOU was signed between ETTANZ and India New Zealand Business Council on 10 February at a function for the launch of the INZBC Auckland Branch. The documents were signed by Chad Wilkie, Chairman of ETTANZ and Wenceslaus Anthony Chairman of INZBC.

“This presents a new opportunity for the members of both of our organisations to work together and combine their respective strengths.
ETTANZ will benefit from INZBC’s consultation and participation with agencies of both the governments, and INZBC will benefit from ETTANZ’s ability to identify specific trade opportunities for Indian and NZ businesses” said Chad Wilkie.

Both organisations will cooperate to benefit from combined opportunities for seminars and from an attractive discounted membership and seminar attendance fee structure.

“ETTANZ has a very different role from INZBC. ETTANZ is in the business of facilitating actual deals through the use of its members’ contacts and networks in New Zealand, India and further afield in Asia. INZBC see this capability as adding to their existing focus on free trade discussions and liaison with representatives of the Governments of India and New Zealand” said Satish Sharma, President of ETTANZ.

Education, Trade & Technology Alliance NZ Inc (ETTA NZ) is a not-for-profit organisation, formed to promote trade and commerce between New Zealand and overseas markets and to facilitate business growth for its members. ETTANZ provides leadership to enable New Zealand businesses to exploit new opportunities in international markets, with a primary focus on emerging markets like India, ASEAN region and China and facilitate forging partnerships of overseas companies with New Zealand businesses.
