Turners Auctions Appoints New Chief Operating Officer
Turners Auctions today announced the promotion of Todd Hunter to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer.
Todd has worked at Turners for more than three years – most recently as General Manager of Sales and Marketing.
In his new role, Todd will continue to lead the sales and marketing functions as well as Turners Finance (a consumer credit division) , Turners’ largest branches in Auckland Wellington and Christchurch and the Damaged Vehicle Business Unit.
Chief Executive Graham Roberts says the role has been created to ensure the growth and development of the business.
“Todd has done an outstanding job during a very challenging time in the car market. He and his team implemented a comprehensive online marketing strategy that made a significant contribution to our $3million plus profit announcement last month,” said Graham.
Prior to working for Turners Auctions, Todd has worked with some of New Zealand’s most prestigious companies including NZ Post, Microsoft NZ and Ernst & Young.
The appointment will be effect 22 March 2010.
