Bayer launches New Zealand Animal Health website
- web-based tools aimed at farmers and veterinarians
New Zealand Animal Health customers now have a new option for accessing information about Bayer products thanks to the launch of a new website www.bayeranimal.co.nz.
Marketing manager David Barnett says the aim of the website is to provide pet owners, farmers, veterinarians and retailers with information, as well as some useful tools.
“The website has been designed to meet the requests of our customers. It contains general animal and parasite information, product summaries, product labels, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and even Haznotes. All this is formatted to make it easy to find what you want rather than get lost which can be a problem on many websites.”
Bayer has also added a couple of new tools for usability. Online calculators, such as the drench calculator (found on product pages), saves times. All a farmer has to do is enter the type of animal, how many and the weight. The calculator then works out how much drench will be required and what the best pack size is.
Furthermore, type in an address and the website, via Google Maps, will show all the nearest product suppliers complete with their contact details. This function is found on the product pages. To help narrow it down, the map will only show outlets that sell the product a farmer is interested in.
Barnett says the overall design of the website is simple, yet inviting, making it user friendly and easy to navigate. To keep it interesting, the website will be constantly updated with interactive functions and current promotions.
The new website can be viewed at www.bayeranimal.co.nz.
