ACC Changes Organisation Structure
ACC Changes Organisation Structure
The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) today announced a series of changes to its organisational structure.
Chief Executive Dr Jan White said the new structure would enable ACC to more effectively meet its evolving objectives and gain further efficiencies.
“The structure will allow us to operate in a more business-like way and drive improved performance. That will help us achieve better, faster, more cost-effective rehabilitation for our clients. Addressing issues of financial sustainability and improving rehabilitation performance are our key goals for the coming years.”
“At present the changes primarily affect the Executive team. Some roles have been disestablished, some new positions created and others moved to tier three. A consultation process was undertaken with affected staff.”
Once the Executive team is in place they will work over the next three to six months to refine the structure of functions below them but no final decisions have been made about that yet.
To support the Executive a new forum called the Leadership Group will be established. This group will comprise of members of the Executive and some key tier 3 positions (e.g. Head of ICT).
