PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
25th January 2010
Tohu Pinot Noir 2007 Top 100 Wine Spectator
Tohu’s 2007 Pinot Noir has been listed in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines for 2009. Earlier in ’09 the Tohu Pinot Noir received an outstanding 91 points. There were only 2 other New Zealand wines that made the Top 100 – making Tohu’s achievement a terrific accomplishment and a brilliant start to 2010.
Wine Spectator’s review for the 2007 Pinot Noir stated "Lithe, medium-weight, generous and appealing for the coffee nuances that swirl through the plum and currant fruit, remaining vivid and expressive through the long finish".
This fantastic result, coupled with the 5 Stars already awarded by New Zealand's Michael Cooper for Winestate Magazine, confirms this is a seriously good Pinot Noir.
Next week Tohu will be exhibiting at Pinot Noir 2010, New Zealand’s premier Pinot Noir conference, attracting delegates from around the world. During this time 2007 Tohu Pinot Noir will be available for tasting.
