Chamber Congratulates Air New Zealand for its
International Recognition
The awarding of Air New Zealand as Airline of the Year by Air Transport World Magazine is a great honour for New Zealand according to the Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce.
“As the national carrier, Air New Zealand plays a crucial role in promoting New Zealand to the world and an award like this is a real boon for tourism and the country as a whole,” said Chamber CEO Charles Finny.
“It is not every day a New Zealand company wins international honours like this. It is something worth celebrating.
“Air New Zealand has faced increasing competition at home and this has undoubtedly been a factor in its stellar performance.
“I would like to congratulate Rob Fyfe and all of Air New Zealand for this award,” Mr Finny concluded.
