Kathmandu joins NZX 50, replacing tapmaker Methven

Nov. 23 (BusinessWire) – Kathmandu Holdings Ltd., the outdoor equipment chain sold in an initial public offering by Goldman Sachs JBWere and Quadrant Private Equity this month, has joined the NZX 50 today, replacing Methven Ltd.

The shares fell 1.4% to $2.14 today, valuing the retailer at about $434 million. The shares sold in the IPO at $2.13.

Methven, a shower and tapware manufacturer, was unchanged at NZ $1.49.
