Quintessence Launches Online Health Consulting

For immediate release

Specialists in natural health therapies during pregnancy, Auckland-based Natural Health Dispensary, Quintessence, this week launched New Zealand’s first live online natural health consultation and treatment service for pregnant women via its website, http://http://www.qhealth.co.nz

This easy to use and informative online facility gives users access to a free consultation with a qualified natural health practitioner in a secure, live one-on-one situation. Following a series of questions designed to identify how natural health therapy may be able to assist pregnant women with any health problems they may have, a course of natural treatment can be recommended, with remedies available through the website’s online retail function – including herbal remedies prepared for a client’s specific needs.

Quintessence’s Managing Director, Naturopath and Herbalist, Natasha Berman believes this free service will provide much needed access to natural health services, at a time when a woman is feeling vulnerable and needs to be careful about what medication she takes during pregnancy.

“After extensive research we discovered that an online diagnostic and treatment facility for pregnant women wasn’t available in New Zealand and so we set about filling this gap in the market,” she explains.

“Women who want advice on natural treatments and remedies can now do so without having to leave home and be safe in the knowledge they are dealing with a qualified natural health practitioner. Natural health remedies can often be used in conjunction with traditional prescription medicines during this special time when women’s health can get a little difficult to manage. In addition to this service being available to people throughout New Zealand, we also want to make this consultation service accessible to as many people as possible so we’ve made it free of charge.”

The live online consultation service will be available via Quintessence’s website, http://http://www.qhealth.co.nz initially during normal business hours. Women wanting to use this service can click on the Live Chat button to participate in a secure live online Q&A session. This will allow the health practitioner to diagnose the problem and recommend a course of treatment if required or make a referral to a specialist. Patient confidentiality is maintained throughout with the functionality also enabling the health practitioner to guide the patient through the qhealth website for further information as part of the consultation.

Natasha Berman and her team have provided natural health advice and therapies to pregnant women for approximately eight years from their dispensary in the Auckland suburb of Titirangi. The Quintessence Natural Health Dispensary services include Naturopathic consultations, Natural Fertility Management, Herbal Medicine, allergy and hormone testing, Iridology, blood analysis, Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Homeopathy, and many types of massage. Six qualified health practitioners provide quality, professional advice for those seeking healthy lifestyle guidance during pregnancy.
