The Web Co Launches New Brand

The Web Co Launches New Brand

The team at The Web Co has not only just won UHY Haines Norton Best Mid-Sized Business Award at the Waitakere Enterprise Business Awards; they have also launched their all-new brand.

After months of planning, The Web Co yesterday launched its all new look with an online giveaway which gave the community the opportunity to win prizes including a 2-night stay for 2 persons at Rarotonga Beach Bungalows, V8 “hotlaps” with Andrew Anderson, and five days accommodation at the Bridge Farm Stay in the beautiful Alpine Thermal Village of Hanmer Springs.

Liz Halverson, Marketing & Communications Manager for The Web Co, said “We wanted to share our excitement of the launch with the community and give something back; we were fortunate enough to have had some clients offer prizes for the giveaway and were surprised by the number of people who entered.”

“We only mentioned the giveaway in our company newsletter, made a few mentions it prior to launch, and promoted it via Twitter on the day of the giveaway, and yet we received a significant number of entries from throughout the country. One amusing discovery was when we heard that one of our entrants won a painting and his wife is an artist; his artist wife then went on to coincidently win the grand prize 2-night stay at the Rarotonga Beach Bungalows. The couple had been hoping for a trip to Rarotonga but because finances were tight, they’d been putting it off. Now, knowing they’ve won the accommodation, they’re booking their flight. We’re incredibly happy for them. It’s a bit like playing Santa Claus at Christmas, making people’s wishes come true.”

All too often when companies launch a new brand or relaunch an existing brand, they forget about involving the community. This is something The Web Co strived to avoid; “We work with a wide cross section of the community, and wanted to include as many people as possible in “our day of celebration”. We took the opportunity for people to enter the giveaway by utilising Twitter, and this proved to be successful. Of all entries received, we estimate that close to fifty percent of these came to us via Twitter.”

Where to now for The Web Co? Last week they won UHY Haines Norton Best Mid-Sized Business Award at the Waitakere Enterprise Business Awards, this week they have relaunched their brand. “We have always worked closely with our clients to deliver cost effective web solutions that deliver results; with the awards and launch behind us, it will be back to business as usual. We have some exciting projects in development, and will be working to further expand our presence in the marketplace.

“We have a high standard of staff with the skill levels to design and develop web solutions for almost every budget. We always look forward to the challenge of working with our clients to deliver solutions to enhance their business.”

Current clients of The Web Co include Skyway Airport Parking who have seen their website traffic almost double in 4 months with a 30% increase in online bookings.

Lex Jones, Operations Manager, Skyway Airport Parking said “We realised that to take our web business up another notch, we needed to get involved with a professional web solutions company. The Web Company impressed us from the start. They understood what we were trying to do and offered us an overall package that would give us immediate results, coupled with an ongoing SEO programme. The reports and communication with The Web Company Team have been fantastic. We consider a 30% increase to our web business as being successful.”

So with an all-new look and a business award win, you can expect to be hearing a lot more about The Web Co.
