Attached you will find the results of last Friday’s survey of BNZ Weekly Overview readers. The results show confidence rising to a record net 56% positive about the economy over the coming year from 42% in August and 15% in July. Businesses note more customers coming through the door though there remain plenty of examples of businesses still finding current conditions very tough.
In residential real estate while there is some caution about the possibility recent strong activity could wane, a shortage of listings continues and buyers appear to be increasingly desperate to make a purchase.
