Export Xtreme Takes Off At Ruapehu
An avalanche of top skiers and snowboarders are about to descend on Mt Ruapehu.
Around 50 of the world’s best skiers and boarders will face off on the mountain from 8-13 September for the 2009 Export
Xtreme.
Sponsored by Export Gold and Export 33, the competition features spectacular skiing and phenomenal boarding from expert
athletes who have carved their names in snow around the world.
This year’s competition is also a first-time qualifying event for the Freeride World Tour hence the added attraction of
Mt Ruapehu for the world’s crème de crème of skiers and boarders.
Export brand manager, Dave Shoemack, says the brand is proud to be sponsoring the event and getting behind competitors
and their supporters.
