Jetstar’s Collect4Schools rewarding Kiwi kids

Low fares airline Jetstar is launching its Collect4Schools program in New Zealand to give schools the chance to collect Jetstar boarding passes to redeem flight vouchers.

Collect4Schools is open to all New Zealand kindergartens, child care centres, primary and secondary schools. The program is designed to reward students, parents and teachers who collect boarding passes for their school to share in up to $40,000 worth of Jetstar flight vouchers.

These vouchers can then be used to raise money for various projects such as raffle them for a fundraiser, donate tickets to a family in need, or provide the flights to students competing at interstate school events.

Schools that submit 25 boarding passes could redeem one return domestic flight on the Jetstar domestic network and 50 boarding passes could redeem two return domestic flights. Only one voucher can be issued per school.

Entries from schools will be accepted until the total prize pool of $40,000 in Jetstar flights runs out.

Jetstar Executive Manager Commercial, David Koczkar says the program highlights Jetstar’s commitment to families and school communities around New Zealand.

“In these tough economic times we understand that schools need help to raise funds and Collect4Schools is an excellent example of Jetstar’s commitment to initiatives that benefit Kiwi families and local communities,” Mr Koczkar said.

Schools interested in participating in Collect4Schools should visit Jetstar.com and follow the Collect4Schools link for full details and terms and conditions, including an application form and a special downloadable poster to pin up on school notice boards.
