Optimation enables work-from-home IT environments

Optimation enables fully productive work-from-home IT environments

Wellington, New Zealand: Optimation is helping businesses cope with the challenges of flu season by providing a remote access solution that gives staff secure and fully productive access to all their office IT systems from home.

The solution is based on award-winning F5 Firepass and Vasco secure remote access technology, which can be integrated into any existing IT environment. To make it easy for businesses to budget for implementation, Optimation has designed fixed price packages for up to 25 or up to 50 users. Packages include all the hardware and software needed, plus expert consulting and engineering services to scope, test and install the solution and to ensure smooth integration with existing IT systems. Custom configurations can also be designed to suit specific business needs.

“With the problem of swine flu added to the usual winter illnesses, we understand that New Zealand businesses are very concerned about planning for business continuity. We want to help them keep operating in the short-term, while also providing them with an excellent long-term investment that enables effective teleworking and other flexible working arrangements,” says Optimation’s National Sales Manager Verdon Kelliher. “This is an ideal solution for delivering a full suite of secure IT services to people who travel regularly or work from remote offices. It also provides contingency cover for situations where weather conditions or public transport problems interrupt normal commutes.”

Optimation has a strong track record providing secure infrastructure and flexible remote access solutions to a wide range of corporate and government organisations. Services include consultancy, architectural design and integration, product selection and installation, training, and on-going support and maintenance.
