Stationer pushes the envelope into full postal service
The brand that’s synonymous
with envelopes – Croxley – has launched a full postal
service that will make stamps and envelopes more widely
available around the country.
Croxley is now a registered postal operator, in competition with NZ Post, offering a full range of stamp and pre-paid envelopes under the company’s new Croxley Mail brand.
Croxley has an access agreement with NZ Post, enabling Croxley Mail products to be delivered through the postal system on Croxley’s behalf.
Managing Director of Croxley Stationery Joe Naus says the launch of Croxley Mail will make sending items via post more convenient for New Zealanders as its range of stamps and envelopes will be accessible through a wide range of retailers compared to those provided by state-owned postal operator NZ Post.
“New Zealanders can now buy Croxley Mail stamps and pre-paid envelopes in a wide range of everyday stores such as The Warehouse, Whitcoulls, Warehouse Stationery, OfficeMax and local stationery stores – rather than having to search out a PostShop.”
Joe Naus says the Croxley Mail range is a logical extension to Croxley’s writing stationery, exercise books and diaries and he says the postal range will continue to grow.
“Croxley is a strong brand that has been part of the New Zealand fabric for a long time and has continued to adapt with the market.
“There’s still a big market for postage stamps and prepaid envelopes and we believe that will continue to grow as stamps become more available with a brand New Zealanders know and trust,” says Mr Naus.
The products are made in New Zealand and the envelopes meet Enviro-Mark®NZ Gold environmental certification.
The first Croxley Mail postage stamps feature a series of images of Muriwai Beach on Auckland’s west coast.
