NO BLUSH BRA BUYING SAYS BENDON
Global lingerie company Bendon launches its No Blush campaign across New Zealand and Australia today in the hope it will encourage more women to feel comfortable about having their bra fitted by an expert.
Bendon’s campaign, named ‘No Blush’ is designed to communicate to women who perceive having a bra fitting will cause them embarrassment or mean they need to strip down for the fitting.
Bendon’s General Manager, Paul Tucker says often women are too self-conscious or think they’ll have to get naked to be fitted correctly for a new bra. Bendon aims to dispel that myth and create an enjoyable lingerie shopping experience.
“We estimate up to 70% of women are wearing the wrong sized bra. This means women are not receiving maximum benefit and possibly damaging their breasts from wearing an ill-fitting bra”, says Mr Tucker.
New eye-catching signage has gone up in all Bendon’s retail stores with the message No blush fitting – no getting undressed – no appointment needed – no more bra crimes.
The campaign focusing on Bendon’s specialised bra fitting service runs across New Zealand and Australia until 19 July.
