Newmarket Launches The Design Precinct

In line with Newmarket’s desire to highlight the excellence of its local businesses, a number of companies engaged in various aspects of interiors and design have come together to launch the Design Precinct – at the roundabout in Newmarket.

Located at the junction of Broadway, Parnell Road, Railway Street and Leek Street, these leading businesses have collaborated to offer shoppers a full range of furniture, fabrics, accessories, paint and kitchen design.

‘Recognising the presence of this group of businesses is very timely,’ says John Slater, Chairman of the Newmarket Business Association and Managing Director of Creazioni Kitchens, a well-established business “at the roundabout”.

‘This is particularly importantly, as it includes a number of companies we are welcoming into the NBA as a result of the expansion of our coverage.’

The Design Precinct logo and ongoing promotion will ensure that this interior design creativity within Newmarket reinforces its growing reputation as New Zealand’s centre of fashion.
