Enormous response to Harcourts’ mention in leading real estate authority’s trends report

2 June 2009: An enormous response has followed Harcourts’ identification earlier this year by leading world real estate authority Stefan Swanepoel as one of four international real estate brands leading the charge in expanding internationally.

Harcourts International‘s Head of International Growth Aaron Hodson says being showcased in the 2009 Swanepoel Trends Report has helped to generate interest from high profile real estate organisations from all over the world, including a number of applications for master licences.

“The interest we’ve had from around the globe, including South America, India and the United States, has been tremendous since our inclusion in the Swanepoel report, which names Harcourts as one of four companies who best exemplify the race towards becoming a global real estate company,” he says.

As announced in when the report was released earlier this year Mr Swanepoel describes Harcourts’ success as amongst other things being based on a “people-oriented culture” that has resulted in a turnover rate that is significantly lower than the industry average.

“A youthful Gen X culture has energized the company’s drive, creativity and passion. That cultural mindset is further defined by a clear purpose and a business philosophy that flows down through the organization in the form of four very simple but specific values that are constantly communicated: People first; Doing the right thing; Being courageous; and Fun and laughter,” the report says.
