Employment Category - Large Traffic Increases

Nielsen Online Market Intelligence Ranking April 2009 - Employment Category - Large Traffic Increases Year on Year

Please find attached a website ranking of the top ten channels in the Nielsen Online Market Intelligence Employment category for New Zealand visitors' unique browsers for April 2009*.

The top three in the Employment category for domestic traffic are seek.co.nz, trademe.co.nz/trade-me-jobs and nzherald.co.nz/employment. Seek and Trade Me Jobs remain well clear in this category as they were this time last year, and have also experienced very high growth rates in traffic numbers since April 2008. seek.co.nz has gone up 24% from 407,004 unique browsers in April 2008, while trademe.co.nz/trade-me-jobs has gone up 31% from 336,176 unique browsers. The very large increase in traffic numbers for the top two job listing websites in New Zealand perhaps gives further verification that there are now many more people looking for employment than there were this time last year.

These rankings can be customised to the needs of your publications and articles. Additional information outlining data on unique visitors, page impressions, visit durations, and demographics of visitors can also be forwarded for incorporation into articles.
