Ten Freshman Sires Hit Karaka Next Week
New Zealand Bloodstock's National Weanling, Broodmare and Mixed Bloodstock Sale from 4 - 6 May will see the first weanlings of 10 exciting young sires grace the Karaka sale ring.
A total of 336 weanlings, plus four supplementary entries, are set to go under the hammer on Monday and Tuesday of the sale with the supplementary offering following on at the conclusion of the main weanling session.

Danger Looms was amongst the best two-year-olds of his year in Australasia. His victories as a juvenile included the Group 2 VRC Sires Produce Stakes and the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude, and as a grandson of Danehill, buyers can expect a level of precocity from his progeny.

Himself a sale-topping yearling, Darci Brahma sold through the Karaka Sale ring for NZ$1.1million. A dual stakes-winning son of sire sensation Redoute's Choice, Fast 'n' Famous is from the stakes-winning daughter of Zabeel, Zalinda. She is the daughter of Group 1 ARC Railway Stakes winner Alynda.
