Yeahpoint on track for 300% growth
Interactive digital media company Yeahpoint on track for 300% growth as it expands overseas and increases export sales.
Interactive digital media company Yeahpoint has defied the global recession and continues to produce incredible growth during the current financial year with its target of 300% looking like being broken in the very near future.
As a result this month alone Yeahpoint has added to its Australian base and opened new offices in New Zealand, South Africa and Asia and now looks set to have a significant impact globally with its projected increase in export sales.
Started back in 2003 by three partners the award winning company is now one of the fastest growing producers of custom designed, interactive digital solutions, in Australia.
CEO John Anderson says the company has continued to produce compound growth of 200% over the last four years and with the support of clients such as L’Oreal, Mars, Meat and Livestock Australia and Singtel says he now expects the company to not only expand rapidly in its current overseas locations but is looking to soon conquer both the European and USA markets as well.
“Much of our success is to do with quality, delivering on time and producing a product that actually increases sales,” Mr Anderson explained. “Some of our clients have reported retail increases of up to 600% - an attractive factor in recessionary times.”
Yeahpoint’s digital solutions have proved a huge success in the petcare, grocery, fresh food, healthcare, hardware, cosmetic and telecommunications retail markets, with many companies signing contracts with Yeahpoint for a fourth year.
Mr Anderson says: “This proves there are real benefits to customers using our product. We have another three major networks about to go live soon and a number of pilots in the pipe line too. There is incredible scope for us to grow and develop in a number of different markets.”
One of the keys to Yeahpoint’s success is that it developed a unique platform, YeahWARE v1.0, on which all of the Yeahpoint solutions operate, and in January this year the company launched its YeahWARE v6.0 at NRF in New York. This has added consumer intelligence and connectivity functions which Mr Anderson says “makes our platform one of the most innovative available globally.”
“We noticed that other companies producing digital media and signage in the retail environment were failing in the areas of interactivity, flexibility and speed/cost to market,” he explained. “With support from the Australian Government and Microsoft we were able to build a platform that overcame these obstacles and we haven’t looked back since.”
Mr Anderson also pinpointed the product’s ability to improve both customer and employee service while at the same time cutting the retailer’s costs as a factor in their continued growth.
“We already have a number of contracts in New Zealand, Asia and South Africa” he said, “and have now had interest from companies in Europe and the US. The Australian Government is also supporting our export plans so we are very excited about our future.”
