News Alert 9th April 2009
HELL gets ready to make some lucky (or unlucky) customer’s day …
On Monday 13th April HELL will draw the winner of its 13 Black birthday celebration competition. One lucky customer, regardless of location will be whisked away to SkyCity, Auckland where they will be given $13,000 in a black briefcase, which they have to place on 13 black and spin the roulette wheel.
The lucky or unlucky gamble will take place at 13.00hrs on 13th April at SkyCity, Auckland.
If the winner is lucky they’ll walk away with up to $455,000 and a trip for two to Sin City, Las Vegas. If they lose, it’s not so bad; HELL will still give them the trip to Vegas and $1,300 cash to spend.
The 13 finalists who could be walking away with almost half a million dollars are Reg Tozer from Nelson; Tanya Carpenter from Petone; Nicole Henson from Taupo; Bevan Dixon Stoke from Nelson; Melissa Fergusson, Chris Hunter and Doug Chalmers from Auckland; James Ashford from Papatoetoe; Miles Macfarlane from Christchurch; Ian Douglas Powell from North Shore City; Mathew Thorp from Wellington; Natalie Neves from Belmont; and Dane Mclean from Christchurch. The winner will be announced on Monday morning, and will receive a knock on their front door.
The competition is part of HELL’s 13th Birthday celebration. Since Black Friday (13th March 2009) all customers who purchased HELL could enter the ``13 Black’’ competition for their chance to make the big gamble.
As well as HELL’s pizzas giving oral pleasure for the last 13 years, HELL has never been afraid to make a statement. With campaigns including the Pope, Hitler, Shappelle Corby, their Lust pizza and condoms, Thai Massages and the tribute to Sir Edmund Hillary – HELL has always strived to push boundaries to ensure they have fun in doing what it is they do best.
``For 13 years HELL has embraced the very personality that has made us loved by so many pizza eaters. 13 Black celebrates this fun and escapism. If it’s a lucky 13 we are going to make someone’s day hellishly good and if not they’re still get to go on one hell of a ride to Sin City, Las Vegas,’’ says Head of HELL Colin Mellar.
