Meat & Wool New Zealand Director elections – voting closes 4 March

Voting is underway in the Meat & Wool New Zealand 2009 Director elections. Separate elections are being held to elect one Board member to represent the Northern North Island District and one Board member to represent the Northern South Island District. Terms are for three years.

Candidates in the Northern North Island District are Tom Mandeno of Tuakau (incumbent), James Parsons of Broadwood and James Reeves of Hamilton. The two candidates standing in the Northern South Island District are Peter Chamberlain of Norwood and Andy Fox of Amberley (incumbent).

Farmers are encouraged to take the opportunity to have their say as their vote will help determine the make up of the Board.

Voting papers must reach the Returning Officer by 2.00pm on Wednesday 4 March 2009. Alternatively, votes can be made online at Meat & Wool New Zealand’s secure election website https://evote.electionz.com/elections/MeatWool until 2.00pm on 4 March 2009. To log in voters will need their unique PIN and password as they appear on the voting paper.
