Recent appointments
Geoff Hallam has been appointed to a new position of Technical Development and Regulatory Liaison Manager at International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ). Geoff will work with regulators and industry in developing new accreditation programmes.
IANZ Chief Executive, Dr Llew Richards, said that this appointment is a natural progression for IANZ and for Geoff, who has, for some years now, worked closely with a number of regulators in developing and implementing accreditation programme.
Geoff has been replaced as Programme Manager – Inspection Body Accreditation Programme by Adrienne Wollard, who was previously an Accreditation Assessor - Inspection Body accreditation programme.
Marc Ferguson has been appointed by International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) to the new role of Commercial Manager. Marc will focus on providing strategic and commercial advice to IANZ and subsidiary, Telarc SAI Limited at Board and management levels. His areas of responsibility cover finance and accounting, IT, marketing and communications for both organisations.
Marc, who originally qualified as a cost accountant in South Africa, has accumulated 24 years experience in the financial arena in South Africa and New Zealand. Marc recently graduated from the Auckland University of Technology with an MBA (Merit), majoring in Operations and Management.
