Summer Bonus For Winner Of $10k Life Pharmacy-Revlon Prize Draw

Fiona Thompson-Koelman has ten thousand reasons to smile this summer after Gordon Ritson, the owner of Life Pharmacy Queensgate, presented her with a cheque for $10,000 for winning the latest nationwide Life Pharmacy-Revlon competition.

The promotion ran for six weeks across all Life Pharmacy stores. A huge number of entries were made, with over 200 coming from Queensgate Life Pharmacy alone. Overall, the promotion resulted in 24% sales growth for the Revlon brand.

Jacquie Dabrowski, Beauty Merchandise Manager at Life Pharmacy, says the efforts of Fiona Mitchell, Revlon Beauty Advisor of The Year at Life Pharmacy Queensgate, and her team contributed hugely to the success of the promotion:

‘Fiona is a very dedicated Revlon Beauty Advisor’, explains Jacquie. ‘The number of entries was the highest from Queensgate as a result of Fiona encouraging her existing and new customers to enter.

‘On top of this was the attractiveness of a high value prize and a beauty brand that has a strong and loyal customer following.’

Fiona is thrilled that a customer from her counter won the grand prize:

‘Everyone at Revlon has been extremely supportive,’ says Fiona. ‘The surrounding beauty counters at Queensgate have also been very helpful. There is a great team spirit here-we all pull together for the benefit of the pharmacy, rather than simply focusing on our individual areas.’

‘The winner of the prize draw really deserves it and will put it to good use,’ adds Fiona. ‘I’m sure that the extra money will come in handy over Christmas and the New Year.’
