Diesel drops 5 cents per litre at Shell
Shell has dropped the price of diesel by 5 cents per litre, effective 11.30am today, Thursday 18 December.
Shell fuel (at the majority of Shell outlets) is now priced at:
Ultra 91 $139.9 (no change)
V-Power $144.9 (no change)
Diesel $111.9 (down 5 ccpl)
The price drop for diesel is due to a decrease in the cost of product. We have not seen the same drop for petrol prices. Where the refined diesel price has fallen by 5% over the last week, the cost for refined petrol has actually increased by 10%.
We will continue to monitor prices on a daily basis so we can pass the best possible price onto Kiwi drivers.
