Friday morning started in freefall for 42BELOW CEO, Paul Dibbayawan as he leapt from Auckland’s Harbour Bridge this morning as part of the nationwide “Toss your Boss” fundraiser.

The 42R.A.K’s initiative raised $5,200 for the RAK Foundation and tossed 15 bosses at jump sites in Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo and Hanmer.

“The RAK Foundation represents a movement we’re rapt to be a part of. I wouldn’t jump off a bridge every morning to please the staff but this is a great cause.” Paul said after the jump.

Each year on the first of September, the RAK foundation organizes RAK Day, encouraging kiwi’s to be nice to each other and participate in random acts of kindness. The 42R.A.K’s initiative is a joint venture whose aim is to make random acts of kindness a more than once a year occurrence.

The EDGE radio station provided publicity and coordinated the collection of funds across the country.
