Lumino The Dentists Teams Up With Leading Bay Of Plenty Dental Practice
One of Tauranga’s premier dental practices, City Dental on the Park, has joined national dental healthcare organisation, Lumino The Dentists.
Kevan Wong, lead dentist at City Dental on the Park says: ‘Lumino was able to offer an excellent business and financial strategy that matched my own and at the same time secured continuity for my staff and associates with little change.
‘They were extremely helpful, professional and able to build an immediate rapport with staff and associates who can look forward to the possibility of career development in a corporate setting. Patients will also benefit from this change as there is value in being identified with a national brand and yet being able to maintain a local personal approach with continuity.’
City Dental, a modern purpose built five chair facility, is one of only three practices in New Zealand with a state of the art bone scanner that produces a three dimensional image of the head, neck and jaw and allows for precise planning of implant placements.
Andy Tapper, managing director of Lumino The Dentists, says: ‘We are delighted with this acquisition which sees a Lumino The Dentists’ presence in the Bay of Plenty for the first time.
‘Kevan Wong and his team bring an enormous amount of expertise and experience to the group. Kevan is one of only two dentists outside of the United Kingdom to be appointed as an examiner for the Diploma in Implant Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. We are extremely proud to have City Dental on board and look forward to working closely with them to continue providing Tauranga with a superior dental service.’
The acquisition of City Dental brings the number of dental practices in the Lumino The Dentists network to 40.
